Final Exam and Certification

The certification exam will be divided into two phases:

1

Theoretical Test

Multiple choice written test to assess knowledge of the topics covered.

  • Introduction to eFoil: history, evolution and development of the discipline.
  • Regulations and standards: local and national provisions for the use of eFoil, respect for navigation areas and safety rules.
  • Teaching and methodology of teaching: techniques for didactic progression, adaptation of teaching to different levels of experience.
2

Practical Test

Demonstration of the acquired skills, with evaluation of the ability to drive eFoil, manage a teaching session and deal with critical situations in the water.

  • Basic and advanced maneuvers: takeoff, tight turns, speed adjustment and foil control in different weather and sea conditions.
  • Starting and setup techniques: correct posture, weight distribution and speed management.
  • Simulation of emergency situations: managing falls, recovering the vehicle and assisting a student in difficulty.

Water Safety Certification

Swimming Skills

To ensure a high level of safety, participants must demonstrate swimming skills and fundamental knowledge of water rescue. To this end, there will be a practical test in which floating skills, independent swimming and recovery of any student in difficulty will be evaluated.

First Aid

Emergency management and first aid: recognition of risk situations and intervention protocols in case of difficulty or accident in water.

Rescue Techniques

Simulation of emergency situations: managing falls, recovering the vehicle and assisting a student in difficulty.

Safety Protocols

Training on current regulations and safety protocols necessary to operate in regulated contexts

National ACSI Certification

Upon passing the exams, candidates will receive the ACSI Electric eFoil Instructor Certificate, recognized nationally, which will allow them to legally operate in the teaching of this discipline.
